Brooklyn Snaps: archive / rss / ask / theme
From Bedford to Carnasie to Lefferts to the Slope. These are Brooklyn Snaps.

Meet Al.
I’ve been seeing her on the L train for about 2 years now, but on this particular night, I finally had the opportunity to approach and take her picture.
Al’s socks glow so brightly that in this photo, they are basically neon! The sickly white light of the bodega adds to their yellowness. Al mentioned that prior to settling on yellow as her signature color, she used to rock blue for 7 years straight. Also, that she has crazy shoes that separate her big toe from the remainder of her toes, that they make her feet look like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle feet… I need to see those/can’t wait to see those.
She’s also a fellow tumblr blogger of Backpack Blockparty, where you can view cute, weird, and unique backpacks of NYC.
